How Giada Lynne Pernice turned a clothing resale side hustle into a full-time business

01
Giada started reselling in 2022 the way most people do: one marketplace at a time, all by hand.
“I used to do everything manually and it took me hours to post only a few listings! I would screenshot everything from Poshmark, then copy-paste every detail into Mercari.”
Listing on just two apps took her 10–20 minutes per item. Getting more inventory in front of more buyers meant spending even more hours re-typing the same listing.

Today, Giada runs her business on a simple, repeatable routine:

While I’m prepping, I’m having Vendoo work for me by sending offers as well as delisting and relisting.
03
Three Vendoo features do most of the work in Giada’s shop.
Crosslisting is the biggest one for me because it allows me to get inventory in front of buyers on multiple marketplaces without recreating every listing from scratch. I can maximize the exposure of my 800+ listings!
What used to take 10–20 minutes on two apps now takes her 5–10 minutes, and each listing goes to 8 platforms.
I use the delist/relist feature regularly to refresh older inventory and give items another opportunity to be seen.
Having one central place to manage inventory across marketplaces makes the business much easier to operate. It allows me to reflect on my sales over a period of time to see what’s working, and what I need to adjust to keep my business on a growth trajectory.

Comparing August 2026 with August 2025, Giada's average sale price is up 43%, and she's listing 238% more items. She set her record for number of sales and profit in June 2026, then passed 800 active listings in September 2026.
She also gets back 10+ hours a week, time she now puts into sourcing and growing the business.
Vendoo has not only allowed me to focus on sourcing, optimizing, and growing, but it also turned reselling into a business that feels scalable, sustainable, and much more efficient.

“This will allow you to dedicate time to other parts of your business while tasks like delisting, relisting, and sending bulk offers will be done for you.”
“Organization is key as you continue to expand, and is just as important as any other business component. You need a way to easily find sold orders in a timely manner.”
“Even on hard and busy days, posting a couple items each day will compound your results more than bulk posting once per week!”
